Each tanker for transporting Corrosive substances is designed and manufactured according to the following standards:
The Israeli standard 819 – latest version.
ADR convention – latest edition.
UN number – according to the relevant standards.
The latest regulations of transportation.
The vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.
The tank and its accessories will be installed on the vehicle chassis.
Tank
Tank capacity and division – according to client request.
Tank material– according to the transported substance.
“20 manholes with a “10 filling ports, according to the standard.
Seals – all the seals between the pipe connections and valves are Teflon.
Safety accessories – in each manhole there is a stainless steel pressure relief valve to pressure inside the tank.
Safety valves – BETTS pneumatic safety valves installed in the bottom of the tank for unloading each compartment separately.
Manifold – rear unloading manifold, including pipes and stainless steel flanged-ball valves by YI SHYANG.
Safety valves activation – pneumatic activation will be executed from the rear of the trailer and from the unloading manifold. Due to that, each compartment will be able to open separately.
Emergency – a central activation and closure button is installed on the front left side (driver’s side), in order to control all valves simultaneously.
Chassis
Axles – 3 disk type axles, for a weight of 9 tons each.
EBS – pursuant to the transportation regulations S4 – M2.
Air system – shall be installed according to the Ministry of Transportation.
Up to code safety equipment.
Up to code electric system.
Interlock system when elevating a bridge for loading and unloading.
Finishing Care
Paint and logo design – according to client request.
Compliance to standards inspection by the Standards Institution of Israel.
Functional Inspection by the Standards Institution of Israel.
The Corrosive substances tanker will be supplied with the vehicle compliance documents and blueprints for licensing.
Ministry of transportation regulations number 95 including the latest updates to the standard.
